INVASIVE PLANT AESTHETICS

CONCLUSION

The hypothesis for this study was that people will have more concern for eradicating the less appealing invasive plant species. The data showed some correlation between the participant's attitude of the invasiveness of the plant and their opinions on whether or not it should be removed. There was also a correlation in the data of the participant's feelings towards removal when they know someone who has the plant on the property, or they have it themselves.

Overall, this survey did provide information about the public's perception on invasive plants. I believe that there could have been some manipulations to the survey such as being more specific on what plants are considered aesthetic or non-aesthetic.
